GALLERY GLAMP

'Glamping'- Glamorous camping- an outdoor living experience with all the creature comforts. Wake up on a comfortable bed with downy pillows - to the glow of the morning sun through the white canvas tent, listen to the dawn chorus, and step out onto the porch to brew your morning beverage in a private sunny woodland setting. The gallery glamp is a safari-style tent with heat, lights and a comfortable queen size bed with fresh bed linens- in a private garden site accessed through a sculpture park. A separate private bathhouse has a shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen is on the porch under cover with a sink, fridge, and two-burner propane stove along with dishes, pots and espresso coffee maker. A small table and 4 chairs are also on the porch and a picnic table and BBQ on the lawn. The front door and the windows have screens and the walkway to the bathhouse is covered. The gallery glamp is a new addition to the gallery cabin and gallery suite and the Duthie Gallery & Sculpture Park on a spacious property surrounded by big fir trees, fields and flower and vegetable gardens. The gallery presents solo and themed exhibitions of prominent artists from the PNW and has an extensive sculpture park with significant sculptures and installations set along a trail. In July and August the sculpture park is illuminated for the Summer Lights show. The property is within easy walking access of Ganges, the main village on Salt Spring Island, with lots of restaurants, shops, studios and galleries.
